Health Camps

Since its beginning in 2008, Helambu Project has been proud to host and run its own Health Camps. Due to the area’s poor health care coverage and remoteness, doctors and nurses are arranged to travel through various communities and give check ups to entire communities. Our Health Camps have focused on specific schools and communities known to have little or no access to health care, and our very own Dr. Michael Stevens has volunteered many times in the past! Health camps are conducted depending on the availability of trained medical staff.
