Projects cost money and Helambu Project is not an organization with millions of dollars or pounds to spend. Because we are a community of volunteers, we can only contribute a certain amount of our time and money to project in Nepal, which is why we need your help! Hundreds and hundreds of people the world over have so far made projects possible by donating, fundraising, and sponsoring students at the school. We ask that anyone who is able and willing to help us support one of our projects. Below are some ways you can give:  

 

 

Donate online  

You can donate online safely and securely via our UK charity at Just Giving. Donations can be received worldwide using all the usual credit cards and PayPal. Donations from within the UK are also eligible for Gift Aid

 

Contribute when you shop online

 

Easyfundraising provide a service where you can shop with your favourite online stores and at no extra cost raise funds for Helambu Project UK through our sister Scottish charity Project Hope. You still shop directly with each retailer as you would normally, but simply by using the links from our site first, each purchase you make will generate a cashback donation to the cause you wish to support.

For example make any purchase from Amazon and 2.5% will be donated.  Spend £25 with WH Smith and 3.5% will be donated meaning you will have raised £0.88, at no extra cost to your purchase. Insure your car with Direct Line and raise £35.00, or purchase a mobile phone from O2 and earn £17.50, and so on.

Donating a Project  

There are always plenty of other costs associated with the school and other projects that we are trying to cover. We have plans to buy a buffalo for the school to provide milk for the students, build a new school building, expand the organic farm, etc. If you would like to help fundraise or contribute to an individual project, contact us! We would love to work with you to do something that you are interested in.
